This roof top garden is located above the parking garage of Essex Inn Hotel on Michigan Avenue overlooking Grant Park. It is utilized to provide an outdoor lounging space by the new pool area for the hotel guests.

The design includes a mix of pavers and hardwood surfaces, illuminated planters for the ornamental trees and a wide variety of perennials and flowering shrub plantings.
